Problem

19 Crimes, a successful Australian wine brand wanted to hit the shelves in a new market, the UK, specifically targeting young entry level wine drinkers.

Insight

73% of people aged 18-24 voted against Brexit and as a revitalised 'stay' movement hit the headlines during the 2019 UK election, 19 Crimes - built on the stories of people who didn’t want to leave Europe, had too perfect an opportunity leverage the political current.

Solution

We positioned the brand firmly behind young people with a print and digital campaign that placed cheeky and relevant commentary right next to the live unfolding election news. We even sent Boris Johnson a case. Never heard back though…
